I never look at sodium, I just look at grams of dietary fiber and fat.

We love pancakes as well...in fact, I've been on quite the pancake bender this week. If you have a Trader Joes near by, try thru Pumpkin pancake mix...heavenly!

But here is the recipe off the back of the powerderd buttermilk that I used this morning, with my modifications of course,

1 C regular flour
1 C whole wheat flour
3/4 C corn meal
1/3 C oil
1/2 C sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp bakind soda
1/2 tsp ish salt
8 Tbs powdered buttermilk (or just3/4 C regular buttermilk)
1 C + a bit more cold water.

It was pretty good. :)The Atomic Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11898486879415952446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1546868701535384105.post-43318240448479440022010-07-23T09:53:20.936-05:002010-07-23T09:53:20.936-05:001 -- And I thought Los Alamos Smiths was full of w...1 -- And I thought Los Alamos Smiths was full of weridos. I just guess I'll be thankful for the smelly hippies. However a lady did start talking to me once, about toddlers and potty training in the dairy section. I didn't realize she was talking to me till after I'd walked away and left her standing there in her supoort hose, shorts and all akward.

2--Have you ever considered expressing your milk and just feeding her out of a bottle when you're out? As one who bottle fed exclusivly, I can say, so much less pressure to just have a bottle on hand.

3--Family reunion food = Deli case at the grocery store...not even kidding. I never make homemade for large groups of people. I just don't.

4--Those toe shoes look weird. Just thinking about running makes my knees hurt.

5--Yes processed stuff has way more salt and sugar than anyone needs. I suggest Bob's Red Mill 10 Grain Pancake mix...very good and very healthy.

That is all /end transmissionThe Atomic Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11898486879415952446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1546868701535384105.post-41814976998394392892010-07-23T09:18:22.880-05:002010-07-23T09:18:22.880-05:00I'd make chuck fix the 20-person meal.
